Kickstarter Highlight: Week of March 11th

We are a little late with this weeks highlight but it isn’t for lack of trying. Everyday I have been lurking through the Kickstarter website but just haven’t seen a new project that I felt the need to highlight. That is of course until today! I am excited to showcase a project which we are actually backing for the second time.

Telepath Tactics by Sinister Design

“Telepath Tactics is a turn-based tactical RPG in the tradition of Fire Emblem and Disgaea. Featuring mod support, a robust map editor, and a dialog editor, you can create your own campaigns and download others’ off the internet!

On top of single player, Telepath Tactics also features 2-to-6 player local multiplayer matches (i.e. you and your friends playing together in the same room, Super Smash Brothers style).”

If you are a fan of tactical RPG’s you would be crazy to not back this campaign. The passion put in the project is easy to see based off the amount of depth in literally everything ( even including mod support). Telepath Tactics will  be joining us at Pax East next week as part of the Indie MEGABOOTH and we are very excited to check out the game in person (and speak with Craig)!

  • Demo!

    • Who doesn’t like to try before they buy? If you enjoy the demo you know this game will blow you away upon release!
  • Modding
    • Create new characters, tile sets, classes, maps and more to provide infinite re-playability
  • In-Depth Combat

    • Over twenty character classes, destructible environments and a variety of status effects help form what could be a great tactical RPG.
  • Multi-Platform
    • Linux fans rejoice knowing Telepath Tactics will be available on Linux as well as PC/Mac

His first campaign may have fallen short but I am confident the second go will prove victorious. On its first day Telepath Tactics already has almost $4,000. Be sure to check out the campaign and follow Craig on Twitter for more updates.
